Exploring Laura S. Walker Campground in Waycross, Georgia

Campground has a limited
number of campsites that
are available for
 reservation.

I spoke with Eric about this, as we am used to making reservations months ahead while creating our travel itinerary.  He's read forum posts about this type of reservations.  It leaves campsites available to locals who aren't planning months ahead for weekend getaways.

I admire the nearby
full bloom.

The Dump Station is conveniently
located next to the dumpster.

adorable!

This is one of the newly
rehabbed campsites with
new lumber edging the
gravel pad.

It's very long, maybe
sixty feet in length.

This Rockwood Hard Side
Pop Up Trailer is
distinctive.

Campsites on the inner side
of the loop don't have
wooden framing.

One of three sets of washers &
dryers available for campers
to use.

It costs $1.00 to wash a load and $.75 cents to dry a load of clothing.

Our campsite is very

Eric looks forward to casting a worm in the water to catch a fish....
