The Stations of the Cross @ Holy Trinity Monastery in St. David, AZ





The Stations of the Cross
meditations were composed
by Reverend Louis Hausenfaus
& Sister Carol Firth.










Eric and I follow the Stations through the cemetery.





A bench has been placed
graveside for visitors.
  






The Stations of the Cross are
a meditative account of the
day Jesus was crucified.

Station Five:
Simon of Cyrene helps
Jesus carry the Cross.












This monument reminds me of





Decorative blocks mark
the borders of this grave.




There's no one to collect
the toll....

It's time to Limbo....







This simple marker is
for a World War II
Veteran.





This is a lovely walk.




Station Eleven:
Jesus is nailed
to the Cross.

next to the remnants of

Eric and I enjoyed our walk through the cemetery as we walked the Stations of the Cross.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel @ Holy Trinity Monastery in St. David, AZ

Chapel, set up for prayer.

A Visit to Holy Trinity Monastery in St. David, Arizona





Eric & I visit Holy Trinity
Monastery in nearby
St. David.







From 1974 to 2017 Benedictine Monks ran the Monastery.  Their numbers dwindled, others left and now the Benedictine Olivetan Congregation owns and runs the property.

We are inspected, & allowed
to proceed.

Visitors are encouraged to
stroll in the Bird Sanctuary.

The sign for the Stations of the
Cross takes visitors farther
into the cemetery.

A Walk On Arizona G & T's Path To Wellness in Benson, Arizona





is located next to Valley




Eric & I take a walk on
the Company's Path to
Wellness.




We are warned that walking
this trail is done at our
own risk.

Walking Arizona G & T's Path to Wellness twice is just short of a mile.  Adding the steps to our Campground makes this morning's walk one mile long.
