The Welcome Center honors E.L. Greenway, a community leader who served on the Warner Robins Planning and Zoning Boards for over 30 years.

This former Train Depot, built

in 1943, was re-purposed to

 house the Welcome Center.

Warner Robins is the
International City.

The E.L. Greenway Welcome

Center hosts a Caboose.

Caboose SOU X556 was built

in 1971.

Norfolk Southern Corporation

donated it to the City of

Warner Robins in 2000.

The former Elberta Train Depot
has been moved to the E.L.
Welcome Center.






The exterior has been repaired and repainted.  After the interior is finished, the building will open as a Heritage Center.
