We Leave the United States to Start Our Trip North to Alaska

We will stop at the Duty Free
Shop, someday...






Our motorhome was pulled over for an inspection at the Canadian border.  There was a reason for the neurotic cleaning yesterday... Company's coming!

After fifteen minutes, the Customs Agents returned with our passports and keys.  We were free to go.  No comments on my paperback choices...  Whew!

We crossed the Alex

Fraser Bridge.

I saw several Car 2 Go
on our way through
North Vancouver.

As we travel north, we
delight in the scenery.

Two young travelers from Australia, Amy and Joey, hiked up the road from their disabled car to ask for help.  Their brakes had failed and they were in need of a working cell phone...  No luck, as we are too far from Lillooet.  Eric and I unhitched our Jeep and I drove Amy and Meghan to the Kal Tire in Lillooet. When I left them, they were waiting for a tow truck to bring their car into town for brake work.

We are 105 Kilometers from

100 Mile House, where we

will spend the night.

British Columbia has open
range for cattle.
