We Are Headed For Skagway, Alaska Today

Others camped with us
at Teslin Lake.

I think the bicyclist we

This is the first school bus
we've seen in many miles.

We're stopping at
Yukon Motel Restaurant
for breakfast.

Just ask and staff will give you the password to the WiFi.  After some blogging, I'm ready to get back on the road.

We turn off the Alaska Highway
onto Route 8 toward Tagish.

Eric spotted these wildflowers
growing next to the road.

We'll be driving on gravel
for a while.

We continue southwest
toward Carcross

We stop at a turnoff to read the Chilkoot Trail historical markers.

This desolate area is called
Tormented Valley.

We enter Alaska Time Zone.

Family & friends on the East
Coast of the US are four
hours ahead of us.

Welcome to the  United

Here we are at the
Welcome to Alaska sign.

A waterfall right next to the road.

We breezed right through.

Welcome to Skagway

We'll spend two nights at

Not needing hook ups, it's
$30.00 per night.

There are a lot of stones
on top of the Jeep's hood.

The rock guard Eric made
