Haines is Salmon Run
Campground & Cabins.

The water sites have
electricity.
There is potable water here, but no dump facilities. We have 100 gallons of water for one week and our gray and black tanks are empty. We will not have to drive into Haines to dump our tanks during our stay.
The cabins are
very popular.
This is bear country. Campers keep food inside their campers and tenters keep it inside their vehicles.
The dry camp sites
are spacious.

Our Verizon cell connection here is 3G with two bars. We will use our Verizon Jetpack for internet use. I've been blogging... ever so slowly. Bandwidth is very poor. This is the best we can do for internet here.
We asked around and ATT is the major provider in this area. During the summer when the cruise ship is in port on Wednesdays, bandwidth is sucked up by the many visitors to town.
