Columbus, Ohio Day Two

The part is due in at 10:30 am and Eric gave a set of keys to the garage so they can start the job as soon as possible.  It's a drizzly morning, so we decided to go to the Columbus Museum of Art.  It's $10.00 per adult admission, but the parking is free.

The first floor has an exhibit by a local woman that highlights the near east side of Columbus.  She spends time on the African American community and contributions of local residents.  There are interactive areas all over the first floor to engage children and adults.  This is a fun place.

Giant Light Brite Display on the first floor.

The second floor has a mosaic floor from a Roman home circa 300 AD,  There's beautiful glass sculptures, a a gallery of  murals and a gallery with Picassos, Monets, a Diego Rivera.

It's no fun to need a part for the motor home.  It's no fun to wait for a part for a motor home.  The unexpected experiences we had in Columbus OH were lots of fun.  Ohioans know how to tour their Capitol.  The State Supreme Court Building is beautiful, inside and out.  The Columbus Museum of Art has a fascinating mix of 19th and 20th century art work.  And that amazing mosaic floor from a 3rd century AD Roman home.
Walking into a Romney political rally was very cool.

As we hoped, we got a phone call around 2 pm and after Eric paid the bill, we were on the road by 3:20 pm.  I'm hoping the rest of our trip is uneventful, but I hope we'll have lots of unexpected experiences.
