Closing Ceremony at the 56th Escapade in Essex Junction, Vermont

Closing Ceremony is the time to thank Escapees RV Club Staff & the Parking Crew 
(standing) who worked to make the 56th Escapade successful.

Volunteers were asked to stand.  Many Escapees and Xscapers  throughout the 1,000 + person audience stood.  We thanked them with a hardy round of applause for giving their time to the 56th Escapade.

Prizes were handed out:

Grand Prize...  Adventure Caravans

Door Prizes and Raffle Prize winners were announced.

Much to my surprise, I won
Chapter 20: Mid Atlantic's
Raffle Prize....

A Large Basket of UTZ Products,
Two Wines, Jams, Chocolates,
a Wooden Amish Candy Dish....

Finally, the announcement of the number of RVs attending the 56th Escapade:   748
Escapees, Xscapers, and children attending this Escapade: 1,395

The "Jim Koca Red Pepper"
announced the results of the
Chili Cook-Off.... 

$6,089.23 was raised for CARE.  Alliant Credit Union won the Chili Cook-Off by raising....

... $3, 687.00 for CARE
(Continuing Assistance 
for Retired Escapees).

And, they donated their
$175.00 cash prize to

 the Club's President's Award to
Bob & Molly Pinner for their
years of tireless work as
Escapade Directors.

The 56th Escapade in Essex Vermont is coming to an end...  Our five days here flew by with time spent with friends and new friends. learning about RVing topics. attending socials, shopping and just hanging and enjoying Northwest Vermont.
