We Are at HWH in Moscow, Iowa to Have Our Large Living Room Slide Repaired

On May 10, our large living room slide went out and wouldn't go back in.... Every RVer's nightmare.  With help from our son-in-law Damon, Eric was able to jack up one end of the slide so it would ride up over the kitchen floor.  For six weeks, our living room was not so spacious.

Eric and  I are happy to return to Moscow, Iowa and have HWH, the slide out experts do this repair for us.

Look at the size of that jack!

The tech is working underneath
the slide out.

I thought they would remove
the slide to do the work.

The left end of the rail is bent.

It's bent badly.

We also found out that the
solonoid needed to be replaced.

That's why the
slide didn't retract.

The shiny metal on the right
is the new rail.

The new parts were installed, but adjustments still needed to be made.  We are going to spend the night in the HWH Repair Shop.

The second shift is working,
that's why all the lights are on.

There are fewer lights
on at 10 pm.

The work is done.

Eric & Lon, the Repair Shop
Supervisor are reviewing
a few things....

Eric and I are so happy to have our entire living room available to us.  Let's have a party!
