Customer Service Hall of Fame... RV LED Bulbs Is the First Inductee

I'm going to start a Customer Service Wall of Fame.

Today's winner is.....  RVLEDBULBS.com

This company sells LED light bulbs that fit in RVs.  They are expensive, but they save on electricity consumption.  These seemed overpriced when Eric was shopping for LED's but then with a little research he realized that the lights from RVLEDBULBS.com were different from most of the others. These were rated for a very wide range in voltages, 8 to 30 volts. This means they will last much longer than the cheaper LED lights that need a more steady voltage. RV's have a range in voltage from 12 volts on the low end to as much as 15 volts when charging the batteries. They operate using much lower amps saving battery power and are MUCH cooler. They typically use about 10% of the battery power as the regular bulbs. Eric replaced every light bulb in the motor home except for fluorescent bulbs. They have replacements for those too but we haven't made that leap yet.

This specific light bulb is about
 $27.00 each.

Eric bought fifty in assorted shapes for assorted lighting fixtures.,,, about $1,200.00.

A few months ago Eric contacted the company to report one of the light bulbs wasn't working when it was received.  The company sent him a new bulb, at no cost.  The company said the bulbs are all under warranty. Eric told me that the packing was very careful.

Yesterday a light bulb went dim.  Eric checked the socket and found that it was the bulb that went bad.  Eric emailed the company, hoping to get a replacement bulb.  The owner emailed him that the bulbs are under warranty and that a replacement was in the mail, at no cost.  The email included a tracking number for the new bulb.  All within 24 hours!

Eric and I are very, very happy with this prompt efficient service.  Thanks J. Brian Skone and RVLEDBULBS.com!
