Off Roading With Candice & Darrell Near Quartzsite, Arizona

RVers have several online tools used while "on the road."  RVillage is an easy to use networking service for travelling RVers.   Members make friends and meet to share activities.  Today, we are off roading with fellow RVillage members, Candice and Darrell.

Candice & Darrell arrived in

We are taking them on the
Plomosa Mountains Trail.

I love the sandy areas we come
across on this trail.

This dead Ironwood Tree
looks like a possessed
creature.

We pulled off the trail to investigate vibrant pink flowers.

Eric shows off a flowering

This Prickly Pear is full
of buds

The flowers are
beautiful.

The tiniest yellow flower
grows between stones,

Miniature Daisies cluster
together.

I love these delicate
purple flowers.

We pull over for...

... fellow off roaders.

This Saguaro Cactus has
new growth near its
base.

The rusty dirt trail...

... leads us around these
reddish mountains.

I can't tell from a distance if
these birds are Crows or
Ravens.

This is where the Plomosa
Mountains Trail comes out
on Plomosa Road.

After our ride, Candice and Darrell let us try out their RZR.

Eric is terrified.

We reached speeds
of 60 mph & up.

The RZR is awesome!  It's got an automatic transmission and can go on trails that our Jeep can't because it's not as wide.  Darrell loves tearing around in sandy areas and
I can see why.

The four of us enjoyed our ride together and hope to meet up again, "down the road."
