Our Day/Night Shade Installation at MCD Innovations in McKinney, Texas

Many RVs come with pleated
day/night shades.

These pleated shades are moved up
& down on two strings.

With the day shades down, you
don't have a clear view out
the window.

Eventually, one of the strings will break and the shade needs to be restrung.  Eric spent hours restringing a day/night shade last November.

In June, a string broke on another day/night shade. Having researched different day/night shade options, Eric had lots of information to share.  MCD Innovations in
McKinneyTexas is THE place to go for window shade installation.  An appointment
was made, and here we are, sitting in the MCD Innovations parking lot.

Tremaine came to the motorhome with the information Eric provided for our window shade installation appointment.  We reviewed the number of windows we want done. We selected the higher quality day shade as well as the color and texture for the
night shades.

Caleb arrived and carefully measured each window.  He told us how the shades would be installed. Our windshield has an easy configuration for installation.

The curtains are gone & the
"pillars" have been removed,
exposing wiring for the
windshield shade.

Our pleated day/night
shades have been removed.

look great!

The day/night shades in the living area of the motorhome are manual, our windshield day/night shade is electric.

Thank you, Peggy and Joy for being so welcoming and answering all of our questions. Thank you to the assemblers who produce shades built to exact measurements ensuring successful installation.  Thank you, Tremaine and Caleb for carefully managing our custom window shade order and installing our new day/night shades.
