Eric and I are ready for lunch. Travis, from our campground, recommends the
Pisgah Inn - The Peak of the Parkway. The restaurant sits at the edge of a mountain. I bet it has a beautiful view.
The word Pisgah is from the
Deuterotomy 34:1 -
The Lord ordered Moses to the
top of this mountain & told him to
look in all directions, revealing the
Promised Land to the Jews.

I chose a burger with fries.
As we were among a hand full of diners for lunch, our server, Ron had time to chat with us. He loves working at Pisgah Inn. Ron delights in the view and knows that each workday will be different, the work and the view.
