Viewing the Hubbard Glacier in Alaska

 Today is a Sea Day.  We are traveling to Hubbard Glacier, the largest tidewater Glacier in North America.  

The Norwegian Joy sails past

snow-topped mountains 

& a Cruise Ship.

Small icebergs are from

from Glacial Calving.

This picture shows how

vast this region is.

Zodiac Boats approach.

These tourists can get very

 close to Hubbard Glacier.

 

This small Ship, like the

Zodiac Boats, has a shallower

draft than our Cruise Ship,

allowing it to get closer to

the Glacier.

The sunlight highlights

sections of the Glacier

during our visit.

The Ship rotates so everyone

on board can view the Glacier.
