Fernbank Natural History Museum in Atlanta, Georgia

I love visiting Atlanta, Georgia.  Eric and I spend time with his High School friend, Jim, and his wife, Gina.  

Atlanta has so many great Museums, World-Class Attractions, Art Events, and Historic Places to visit.





Today we are touring Fernbank






Eric & Jim are dwarfed by the
Skeleton of Gigantosaurus.

The other tail belongs to
Let's look into Georgia's distant past. 

The coastal waters were filled with life.


This rock has LOTS of small Sea Shell Fossils.






Tyrannosaurus Rex 



















Millions of years this is what we find in the water off the Georgia Coast. 




Saltwater Plants












And lots of fish.

















Georgia's mountains & woods 
are home to Birds, Beavers, Deer...









Boar & Armidillo live in Central
& Coastal Georgia.





The Wildwoods and Fernbank Forest Trail allow visitors to view the Forest from an elevated boardwalk and on the ground level.

These Sculptures remind
me of a blooming Tulip.














The lower part of the Trail
displays Spirit Guides.

My favorite Spirit Guide
is the Jackalope.
