Notes on Cape Ann Campsite in Gloucester, Massachusetts

Finally, I get around to checking out Cape Ann Campsite.  Having stayed here in 2008, I know that the campground is hilly.  We stayed in the wooded section and I remember Eric carefully backing up our travel trailer to avoid a boulder.  When I mentioned this, Eric said, "All the campsites up there have boulders."

Cape Ann Campsite is located on

Most of the roads in Gloucester
are windy.

Our motorhome is parked in
the open, just up from the
road.

There's no way it will fit in the wooded area of the campground.  We wouldn't get TV satellites either.
We have 50 amp electric and water here.  The dump station is across the street.

The Office/Camp Store

Campsites are terraced
in this hilly terrain.

Two campers are camped,
end to end, parallel to the
road.

It's uphill in all directions....

I wonder how some of
these campers got
into their sites.

Cape Ann Campsite is well situated for visits to Gloucester.  We will return and continue and add to our memories of this special place.
