Memorial.
On this beautiful day, it feels like everyone is out for a walk. I do see the occasional group on bikes, the same style bikes and wearing the same colored helmets. Groups are touring Washington, D.C. on bikes.

Thomas Jefferson was the chief drafter of the Declaration of Independence. He served as Ambassador to France from 1784 to 1789, Secretary of State from 1790 to 1793 and as Vice President in 1797 to 1801 and President from 1801 to 1809.
Thomas Jefferson loved to design buildings. Besides designing his beloved Monticello, he designed the first buildings at the University of Virginia campus and the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond.
