Veterans Memorial Bridge.
Black American engineers and troops worked on the Alaska Highway construction in 1942. The United States Armed Forces were segregated during World War II. Black engineers and troops lived and worked separately from their white counterparts. This bridge commemorates with their dedication to the work given them.
