The needle-like tower
in the middle of the
photo is the CN Tower.
It's very hard to get a close
up picture of this tower in the
middle of a city with lots of
tall buildings.
The CN Tower is 1,815 feet tall. It was built in 1976 and was listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World in 1995.
entrance to the CN Tower.
After a few minutes waiting
in line for security, Eric,
Adam & I went to the
observation decks.
The kidney shaped buildings
in the middle of the photo
make up Toronto's City Hall.
"On top of the world..."
Eric got this shot of a
helicopter hovering over
the railroad tracks.
This is my favorite picture
from this visit....
It includes the shadow
of the CN Tower.
One floor down is the
"open observation deck."
Here's a shot of the marinas
on the waterfront.
The CN Tower was crowded with LOTS of tourists. This is the last full week of summer before school starts and many people are taking advantage of this to visit the tower and go to the Canadian National Exhibition, about a mile away.
