Camp Freightliner: Day Two

We rode the Freightliner Shuttle
 Bus to class.

I'm ready for a second day
of nonstop training on chassis systems
information.

Care & maintenance of the
fuel system is a priority.

Mike reviews installation of
the Fuel/Water Separator,
an essential filter in a
motorhome.

More Show & Tell
items

We spent a lot of time on the
Allison Transmission & how to
maximize fuel efficiency.

These are old air filters.
The elements in the middle one
have deteriorated.

Paper from the filter can be sucked
into the engine and cause tens of
thousands of dollars in damage.

Our second day came to an end and we thanked Mike for running the class and running us into the ground with facts and figures about our motorhome chassis.  He's a great teacher.  We caught a ride back to the KOA Kampground nearby and waved goodbye to Mike.

For you RVers with Freightliner Custom Chassis, try to attend a camp.  It's worth it to learn to appreciate the wonder that is you motorhome's chassis.

Camp Freightliner Swag -
I got the tee shirt.  Eric got
the hat.  We both got Michelin
coffee mugs & pins that say,
"I Survived Camp Freightliner."

Camp Freightliner was hard.
We took in a huge amount of
information.  Luckily, we have
the binder, a CD to refer to &
Mike is available by email for
further questions.
