Up at 5:30 am & Looking for Wildlife at the Boondock Spot South of Wall, SD

Morning fog...

There's the Sun.

Cliff erosion

This is why I don't walk
the cliff's edge.

I'm scanning for movement of a Bighorn Sheep.  No luck, yet...

Animal spotting...

It's a Cow.

 More appear in the fog.

We are sharing space with
Free Range Cattle.

The landscape is shrouded,
eerie.

I found a Prickly Pear Cactus.

This resilient plant grows and thrives in South Dakota's seasonal temperature swings from 20 degrees Fahrenheit in the Winter to over 100 degrees in the Summer.

It's time to return to our motorhome and eat breakfast.
