The Escapees Chapter 41 Rally at West Canada Creek Campsites in Poland, New York

As always, my blog posts are posted several days after an event has occurred.  The Rally started on Friday, September 11 and ended on Sunday, September 13.

West Canada Creek
Campsites regularly
hosts RV Rallies.

Money raised from the
Rally Book Sale will
be sent to CARE.

CARE is a unique program at Escapees Rainbow's End RV Park in Livingston, Texas.  Escapees members in need of medical care can stay at care and recuperate from surgeries, injuries.  Escapees who have "hung up the keys" an are no longer actively RV live at the CARE Center, in their own RVs, and continue to participate in Escapees activities at Rainbow Park.

The Mystery Bag Game is fun and challenging.  Guess the concealed items in each bag.  Add as much detail as you can.  The more accurate the description, the more points
you get.

Eric & I "adopt" first time
Chapter 41 attendees,
Sandy & Larry.
Adoptive parents make sure new attendees are welcomed and share information about Escapees programs and services.

meeting.

After the Chapter 41 Meeting, campers explored the surrounding area.  Campers visited the Herkimer Diamond Mine, Saranac Brewery, the General Herkimer Homestead and other local attractions.

Attendees returned to West Canada Creek Campsites and shared their day trip experiences.

Saturday's dinner was catered
by A Taste of Utica, featuring
Central New York cuisine.

Happy diners...

A rainy evening didn't prevent
us from enjoying a campfire.

Campers spend the evening
playing games.

All too soon, it was Sunday morning.

After a hearty breakfast,
campers said their goodbyes,
hitched up their RVs &
headed for their next
destination.

Safe travels, everyone!
