Casa Bendana Flores is
kitty corner from the church.
Previously, Emma's grandparents
lived in a small house on this lot.
The house is being
built in stages.
The living room, office, two bedrooms with baths are on the first floor.

The kitchen is separate
from the house.
It has a stove, refrigerator,
washing machine and
storage areas.
The kitchen sink is
next door to the kitchen.
There is also a wood fired
stove outside. Emma is
cooking rice and chicken.
The outdoor eating area
Diced Onions and Congo Chiles
in Vinegar.
The Congo Chile grows wild
it is very small and VERY hot.

floor bedroom
Further construction will include more bedrooms and bathrooms. More terraces will be built on the first and second floors. When completed, the house will be painted an off white.
Julian is a structural engineer. The house is being built with concrete and rebar, as is the standard in earthquake zones. This area does not experience earthquakes.
This property has large trees on it.
This gazebo was built with
clay tiles and wood from
the original house.
The bar has a sink with running
water and a refrigerator.
Julian sketched a design for the
iron work and had a man
make this as edging for
the terraced areas.
Eric and I look forward to more visits. We are excited to see the house as it nears completion.
