Midnight @ The Oasis Car Show in Yuma, AZ

Midnight at The Oasis Car Show is is a three day event that hosts over 1,000 cars and trucks.  As a repeat attendee, I am looking for rarely seen cars and trucks.

For example, Car Shows always have Model T Cars and Trucks, at least one 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, Fords, Corvettes, Mustangs, Chevy and Ford Trucks.  El Caminos are seen at every Car Show.

Here's what I found at this year's Midnight at The Oasis...

1946 GMC Pickup

It has been modified for
off roading.

Car Shows have many Chevrolet and Ford Cars, making this Plymouth a stand out.

Suicide Doors

The interior is beautiful...

& trucks.

1972 De Tomaso Pantera

Oooh...  This is the first time I've seen a Pantera.

The engine takes up the
entire back of the car.

There are other Panteras on
display today.

is a find!

1959 BMW Isetta

This tiny car has just one door, in the front.  It gets 60 miles per gallon and is so easy to park.

The owner's sense of whimsy
shows up with the wind up
key attachment on the back.

The BMW Isetta tows this
tiny Teardrop Trailer.

This Minion comfortably
shares space with a tent.

Truck

I thought Mercury only
made cars.

topless & painted pink!

The interior is perfect!

The pink Coleman Cooler
is a great addition to the
themed Truck.

Now I know Pontiac also made
Station Wagons.

Lastly...

This is the first time I have ever seen a Pick Up Truck with a Cap.  It is a unique find at any Car Show.  I hope to see more Trucks with Caps at future events.
