Visiting the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY

Adam & I drive 7 miles northeast
to the Gerald B. H. Solomon
Saratoga National Cemetery
in Schuylerville.

The Visitors Center & Gift Shop
has a kiosk used to find the graves
of Veterans interred here.

A map of the Cemetery

This obelisk commemorates
lifelong dedication to
 Freedom, Veterans &
Country.

He is buried at the Cemetery, among the Veterans he worked with and for during his career in Congress.

We visit Eric's
 Great Uncle Al's Grave.

Great Aunt Betty joined him
in 2018.

Our family shares stories of time spent with Uncle Al and Aunt Betty.  Adam recounts stories of Uncle Al's service in the 82nd Airbourne during World War II.  I love retelling Aunt Betty's stories of her life in England during World War II.

Adam & I visit our cousin
Raymond's grave in the
Garden Section of the
Cemetery.

Ray was a Korean War Veteran.  He and his wife Mabelle are interred here.
