Escapees Chapter 41 Rally at Woodland Hills Campground in Austerlitz, New York

Escapees RV Club members love to get together to talk, laugh, share information and food.  The New York State Chapter meets at rallies twice a year, in June and in September.

At the entrance of the Activities
Building, our New York State
Escapees Chapter 41 Banner
hangs with four CARE
Donation Patches.

Each patch represents $1,000.00 in donations from Chapter 41 to Escapee's Age In Place Program at Escapees Rainbow's End Park in Livingston, Texas.  CARE relies on donations and volunteers to keep the cost of this unique program affordable for Escapee Members.

Rally hosts, Doug & Laurelyn created
this display with eastern New York
information.

Doug & Laurelyn are
having a great time
hosting the rally.

We are raising money for CARE
 with a silent auction.

Apple Themed items are
up for bid.
Good luck to all the bidders!

Mike, Sue & George are our
weekend guests.

They live close by and are warmly welcomed by our group.

John, LuAnn & Sally share
 their summer travels.

We share our favorite side
dishes with Chicken &
Corn on the Cobb.

Check out the
Dessert Table!

After dinner we congratulate each other on great cooking and baking.

The Bills....

Bill N. & Bill W.

This is why we
wear name tags.

An Escapees Rally is just great conversations and great eats...  There's business to conduct.

Our biannual Chapter 41
Business Meeting.

Our Vice President Earl, President, Marilyn, and with Laurelyn, our Secretary, taking notes of the meeting.

Eric thanks everyone for
their warm birthday
wishes.

We gather around the indoor
fireplace on a rainy evening
with Bruce & Joann for
more conversations.

What else do Escapees do when they get together at a rally?  We explore local sites.

George directed us to
his farm in nearby
Stephentown.

George & his grandson,
Matt take us on a tour
of the farm....

We watched a Pixall Big Jack
& trailer harvest corn from
one of George's many fields.

Our group worked up an appetite on our field trip.....

All too soon, it's time to say our goodbyes and go our separate ways.  We all thank Doug and Laurelyn for hosting a fabulous Rally.  Safe travels everyone!
