Bob Straub State Park in Pacific City, Oregon

Oregon provides access to the ocean beaches, estuaries and rivers for recreation.  The Beach Bill of 1967 assures everyone can spend time at Oregon's abundant shorelines.

Bob Straub State Park is

one of many that line the

Oregon coast.

One of the posted signs has instructions on what to do with tsunami debris, which continues to wash ashore from the Japanese earthquake and tsunami in 2011.

Eric and I enjoyed looking for sea shells and watching surfers.  I can imagine how crowded this beach is on a warm, sunny day.
