Our Long Drive Down the Mountain

As we drive down the
mountain, there are
fewer trees.

The land flattens out & the

 vegetation is scrubby.

This section of the mountain
is horse country.

 We entered the Santa Rosa

Indian Reservation.

A bicyclist out for a
challenging ride.

The road gets curvy.

We still have a way to
go downhill...

The black ribbon in the

distance is the road.

Houses cling to this
section of the mountain.

At the base of the mountain,

we enter Palm Desert.
