by Clifford J. Carlson,
rises out of a field of
wildflowers.
The son is showing Mother
something he finds interesting.
The daughter leans forward
with a look of wonder on
her face.
The plaque at the base of
the sculpture lists the names
of the first Norwegian
families to settle this area
Ingebord, Berg, Hagen, Lande,
Petersen, Sanden, Thorson....
Eric takes a picture of
me looking at a wildflower.
The field has Indian Grass,
Coreopsis, Black-Eyed Susan,
Purple Cornflower, Phlox
& more....

I am really impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your weblog.
Is this a paid theme or did you modify it yourself?
Anyway keep up the nice quality writing, it's rare to see a nice blog like
this one these days.
