The Okatibbee Stream was dammed in 1968 by the US Army Corps of Engineers to create a Lake. The dam controls flooding downstream.

The Red Symbol on the sign is for the US Army Corps of Engineers. This Campground was planned and built by this Branch of the Army.

the Lake.
We have water & electric
hookups.
This Corps of Engineers Park is heavily wooded. We won't be watching live TV during our stay because our DirecTV Dish can't pick up the needed satellites.
