Today's drive is on the
Sandia Crest National
Scenic Byway.
The first of the hair pin turns
we are driving today.
Eric and I love driving twisting turning roads for different reasons. Eric loves negotiating the curves and hair pin turn. This is his version of Le Mans and I love watching him enjoying the drive. Me, I love the changing terrain and capturing the experience to revisit over and over again.
We are driving through the
Cibola National Forest.

We're almost at the crest,
10,378 feet.
Radio towers are perched at

The Sandia Crest National Scenic Byway is a beautiful drive! We drove in the snow for the first and maybe only time this year.
