Zion is the first National Park in Utah. President Woodrow Wilson established the Park on November 19, 1919.

Zion is the last of the five "Big 5" Parks that Eric and I are visiting this Spring. Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and Bryce National Parks are unique from each of the other Parks. I am amazed that there is so much geological variety in one State.
