Eric grew up in Schenectady and Jack in the Box was a regular haunt because of its cheap Tacos. In the mid 1970s Tacos cost 15 cents each. This meal was well within Eric's meager teenage budget.
I was included on Taco Runs
while we were dating.
The 1970s rolled into the 1980s and Jack in the Box left its downtown Schenectady location. Burger King took over the building and continues to feed hungry customers these many years later.
The menu has

I got an Ultimate
Burger & Fries.
Eric bites into his Taco and memories flood back.... The deep fried Taco Shells hold up nicely as he relishes the beefy, vegetable interior. The cashier recommended the Ultimate Bacon Cheese Burger. It is a great choice. I love the bun and the loaded up burger is cooked perfectly. The Fries have been cooked very well... I think they stand up well in comparison to McDonald's Fries.
