A flash of white catches my eye.
A Great White Heron
settles at the edge of
the pond.
I move, & the
Heron moves.
It keeps its distance...
It relaxes & nibbles
on the grass.
I leave the Heron watching
the Ducks & Goose
in the pond & continue
my walk.
