Eric and I drove beneath a lighted sign stating that drivers should use caution driving in winter conditions. We looked at each other and I asked him what the Jeep's outdoor thermometer was reading.... 39 degrees Fahrenheit.
Within ten miles, we were driving in wet snow.
It accumulated on the median between the
east & westbound lanes.
I think the snow was elevation related. The temperature returned to 39 degrees, the snow turned to rain, and tapered off as we continued east.
North of St. David, I spotted
a double rainbow.
The very faint rainbow is
just to the right of the road's
double yellow line.
The faint rainbow dissolved,
leaving the vibrant one
alone in the sky.
ROY G. BIV... Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet.... The colors of the rainbow.
