Eric & I drive northwest...
... & wait to turn onto
Interstate 10 North.
The truck towing this steel girder
that could be over 100 feet long
slows traffic as it turns onto
northbound the ramp.

Eric pulls into the left lane to
pass the truck laden girder.
The Tractor Trailer in front of us
has a Tonka Truck sized load.
The rear trailer has
24 wheels.
The trailer is attached to the
girder with chains.
A huge American Flag flies
above Camping World.

Welcome to Sweet Home
The RSA-Bank Trustmark Building,
on the left, is where Eric & I
celebrated Valentine's Day at
Dauphin's Restaurant.
Entering the George C. Wallace
Tunnel, yet again....
Leaving the Tunnel for the
last time in 2018.
Crossing Mobile Bay
There is nothing on the
southern horizon.
Welcome to Spanish Fort.
This is where Meaher State
Park is located.
This photo reminds me of the
Northway in New York &
the western section of the
Massachusetts Turnpike.
We exit Interstate 10
at Exit 44....
... & follow Alabama State
Route 59 South to
Gulf Shores.
My first sighting of a
Lickin Good Donuts
"Go Bears"
The Pedestrian Bridge over
Route 59 in Foley.
Eric fills the motorhome with
Diesel at a Murphy USA.
We arrive at Gulf State Park...
.... & turn right....
.... into the Campground.
Eric pulls into our campsite.
We are staying here for
one month.
This pull through campsite is level and has full hookups (water, 50 amp electric and sewer). Our DirecTV Dish will easily pick up the TV Satellites. This 500 + campsite campground has WiFi. We'll try to use the it, but with so many campers here, I don't expect we'll get a great, steady connection.
