A Stop at Russell's Travel Center in Glenrio, New Mexico

Travel brochures for those
passing through...

Russell's has a very
nice store.

I must visit the Free
Car Museum.

Russell's owner is a collector
who displays some of his
favorite cars & motorcycles
here.

A timeline of Automotive
History lines the walls
of the museum.

1957 T-Bird
Convertible

Mr. Russell's pedal cars are
on display, with a mesa
in the background.

1956 Crown Victoria

John Wayne, "The Duke," & the
Old West are on display in the
 middle of the museum.

So much memorabilia &
not enough time...

Check out this beautifully
restored Willys.

This is the precursor to the Jeep.

1963 Cadillac Coupe
DeVille

1979 Pontiac
Trans-Am

The Automotive History
timeline continues to
modern day.
Wow!  Eric an I drove to Russell's Travel Center to stretch our legs before continuing today's drive. We enjoyed Mr. Russell's car collection, the timeline of Automotive History and his amazing collection of memorabilia.
