This orange sheet is our “Button Up List” It is our customized
checklist for packing up our motor home when we get ready to hit the road. We have wet erase pens that we use to cross off each item on the list as we complete the task.
Our list has been amended over and over again until we feel we have every task possible to review before leaving for the road. This includes stowing items inside and out; bringing in the slides; removing the water, sewer and electric connections and putting them in their designated compartments of the motor home.
We have numerous things on the kitchen counters
The stove is uncovered and ready to use
Everything except our plastic wrap dispenser with the rubber feet is put away
Items used in the bathroom....are put away
The shower door has
a latch on it...
It's unlocked
Now it's locked
The living area slides
are in
The bedroom slide is in and
our TV is stored on the bed
The list includes prompts to put away everything, inside and out. There are entries for hooking the Jeep to the motor home and checking the lights before we take off.
Today we are topping off the Liquid Propane Tank. We use propane for the stove, to heat water, for our outdoor grill and to heat the motor home.
This is the price gauge at the
RV Park's LP Tank
RV Park's LP Tank
We are hooked up for added propane
Checking the LP fill up system in the motor home during fill up
We got 11 gallons of Liquid Propane for $2.55 a gallon -- $30.09.
We're off to Springfield, OR and our appointment for solar panel installation at AM Solar

The details are great, I'm learning a lot about a subject that has been mysterious to me.
If you have occasion, I'd like to learn about the process of hooking up the Jeep and how the lights are controlled, what mods had to be done to the Jeep to allow for light control while not operating, etc.
Thanks,
A.
Alex, you're ahead of me. We are at AM Solar and Eric is involved in preliminary discussions with Mike, one of the techs. I unhitched the Jeep while they were talking & took lots of pics.
Two of the connections are electrical. The braking system Eric bought and had installed on the Jeep is Invisi-Brake. I'll ask him to write a post about connections and the brake system for the tow vehicle.
