The Bar's Window is decorated for Halloween.

There has to be a story behind the name of this Bar.

Eric and I enjoyed Wheel House Wheat Beers by Dry Ground Brewing Company and nibbled on Chicken Fingers with Fries while deep in conversation with the Manager and John.

The Bully Gorilla got its name from a drunken man harassing a Motorcycle Gang.  The inebriated man got louder, more belligerent, and finally yelled, "Well, you're a Bully Gorilla."  The bar went quiet as the patron waited for the drunk to be flattened.  The Motorcycle Gang member laughed and the tension eased.

Years later while searching for a name for a new Bar in Paducah the Bully Gorilla story came up.  It was soon registered as the new business's name.

This building was built in 1912.  It was a Bakery for many years.  One day a 90-year-old woman walked in and told the Staff that she remembered going to the Bakery when she was a little girl.

I was happy to hear that the City of Paducah is Business-Friendly and provides services to assist the Business Community.

Eric and I appreciated the hospitality at The Bully Gorilla Bar.
