Eric & me at the 1953
A Conductor helps
us board the train.
About 420 people are riding the train today and need help finding their seats.
John & Terry, from Missouri,
are our seat mates for the
84 mile ride to DelMonaco
Winery & Vineyards.
During our ride we sample thirteen DelMonaco Wines: Whites, Reds and Fruit Wines.
The rain started. Taking pictures is through a rain streaked window is difficult.
A car waits at a Railroad
Crossing.....
The trip to DelMonaco Winery takes three hours. The Engineer follows the rules of the rails.... Following speed limits and slowing for curves.
Donkeys stand under trees,
waiting for the rain to
stop.
One of the many farms
we passed during our
ride.
I see the Engine of our train
as we round a bend.
Horses graze in the rain.
The City of Baxter
water tower
Grapevines have been trimmed
& wait for sunny days.
It's time to leave the train, stretch our legs and explore DelMonaco Winery and Vineyards.
