It's a snowy November 10th
morning in Oakdale.
It's sticking to grass and cars that have yet to be started this morning.
This clearance sign is
sooo hard to miss.

Eric & I missed the Barn Dance.
We are going up in

Trucks are to start the
downhill drive from

Eric and I reminisce about our drive north through British Columbia. One of the grades was 13%. We'll be fine.

Eric tells me that this sign

This is a hairpin turn,

I keep picking up tidbits about his work at the New York State Department of Transportation.
Eric enjoys driving this
stretch of road.
Our motorhome's exhaust breaks are doing their job, keeping our speed down.

It's a precipitous drop.
Eric tells me that the sensors
on the back breaks show the
temperature is 45 degrees,
10 degrees warmer than the
outside temperature.
Our breaking system is working optimally.

ahead.
After negotiating the 20 mile per hour curve we come across this...

Turnpike.

Eric & I drive past an old
Public School.
It was re-purposed years
ago.
A car, in need of repair,
bound for buyers.
An abandoned shed sits
alone in a field.
A busy Ford dealership

heads out into the
fields.
Eric & I admire this
barn style house.

night at the Walmart at
Parkersburg.
We always park far away
from the store.
