It's a large event venue. Due to Covid, the Event Calendar is sparse.
The murals that decorate the
exterior are made of Corn,
Grains & Native Grasses.
The murals on the front are Crazy Horse and the Replica of the Corn Palace.
Eric and I return to Interstate 90 and continue our drive toward Oacomahttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oacoma,_South_Dakota.
A shot of us at
The Original Corn Palace
The murals on the side of the building are: Bull Rider; Lady on the Prairie; The George McGovern Presidential Campaign Button; Sturgis Rally Motorcycle; An ATV Rider; A Golfer; and the 100 Years Mural- a Tent in the Black Hills.
The Original Corn Palace Stage
sits at the end of a spacious
green lawn.
Eric & I visit the Gift Shop
across the street to Stalk Up
on Corny Gifts.
This giant Ear of Corn sits
next to the Gift Shop.
