Holiday Lights in Hidago, Texas

Since 1990, the Festival of Lights keeps getting larger as the City welcomes more and more visitors.  This year's display theme is Toyland.

Shrek Christmas figures
were made by City of
Hidalgo employees.

Each day they work tirelessly to set up he growing number of displays.

around the City on a tram
visiting miles of
holiday lights.

The Christmas Tree is the
center of the Festival.

Thanks Eric for recording
this section of the Festival.

Eric's video clip includes these cute heroes.

Hidalgo's Ramon Ayala
lights up the street across
from the Festival of Lights.

Ramon's Accordion stylings,
songs & concerts are
very popular.

He & the family members live
in these homes & celebrate
the season with light.

Eric and I have been telling fellow RVers at Tropic Winds RV Resort about Hidalgo's Festival of Lights.  Tours of the beautiful light displays are available through New Year's Eve.
