Who would want to be stuck at a sandy beach spot in a southern clime when you could be basking in NY's cool charm?

It has been a struggle. Luckily we are easily distracted by bright colors, ox carts and volcanoes.
My brother-in-law knows how much we miss the snow in NYS, so he sent us some. There was some sort of shipping malfunction and it melted. Sigh...
