Continuing Northeast to Claremore, Oklahoma

Eric & I return to Interstate 40
East as we cross Oklahoma.

The flowering bush is lovely.






I watch the skies as Eric and I drive east. Springtime is Tornado Season here.

Cattle grazing in nearby fields
look like cardboard cutouts.

US Route 81 in this area.

Eric and I visited here in 2016 and toured the State Capitol.

Eric & I follow this sign to

Interstate 35 North.

Interstate 44 is a Toll Road, which Eric and I choose to avoid.  

We watch a train cross the
bridge across I 35 North.

I think the tank cars contain 
Gas or unrefined Petroleum.

The deck of a bridge is being

replaced one lane at a time.

Our next turn is onto 

US Route 64 East, 

behind a Red Corvette.

This section of the road reminds

me of unfurled fabric being laid

out for a sewing project.

This is Keystone Lake, the
reservoir created in the
Arkansas River.

Let's Get This Potty Started.

Tulsa, under clearing skies.







Bands of Thunderstorms are expected here late tonight.  Some of the scattered storms will include high winds and hail.

Interstate 244 East/US Route 412

takes us around the city.

OvernightRVParking.com lists
Hard Rock Hotel Casino Resort
as allowing free overnight parking.

Reports state that the parking lot
is uneven.

Exit 241 takes Eric & me to

the last leg of today's drive.

We just fit.

I check my Weather App.  Scattered Thunderstorms are expected in the Tulsa area tonight.  Claremore is northeast of the city.  I'm glad we have a Weather Radio tuned to the Tulsa County Weather Station. 

We can sleep with our slides in to present a smaller profile during the expected storms.
