Interstate 10 Interchange.
We stay to the left and follow the signs west.
Eric & I retrace our steps through
this tunnel, going west.
New bridges are being built
across Interstate 10.
We will stop at the upcoming
Rest Area to swap drivers.
Quartzsite is 90 miles west...

open desert spaces &
distant mountains.
Eric stops the motorhome.
I get behind the wheel &
drive.
Eric & I leave Interstate 10 West
for Arizona State Route 72 West.
We want to see different terrain
from this two-lane road.

While planning today's drive, Google Maps showed a construction zone covering a few miles of this route.
We approach this motorhome
at a traffic light.
