February 11 Night Lundi Gras Parades

Rain did not dampen people's spirits on Lundi Gras.  Bourbon Street was hopping!  I finally saw a topless woman wearing body paint.  The last bloc of Bourbon Street was swarming with S (Something I Can't Remember) U (Urban) M (Ministry) members evangelizing.

We walked on to the parade route just before the bands and floats turned onto Canal Street.  The off and on rain was keeping the crowds down.  We were one in from the street barricades.  I expected to be further back in the crowd.  Krewes parading tonight: Proteus and Orpheus.

that earned him LOTS of beads.
