Oregon Residents have ownd the State's Pacific Beaches since Governor Oswald West's proclamation in 1913. His foresight allowed Oregon to preserve this important natural environment.
In 1967 the State backed up residents' right to use and enjoy their public Beaches with the provision that provides public access to all of their Beaches. Businesses can not cordon off sections of the Beach and deny the public entry to their property.
A path takes Eric & me to
a lowlying cove &...
... Neskowin Beach.
It's beautiful here.
There's plenty of room here for visitors to enjoy the Beach without crowding others.
Eric walks along the shore
on a picture perfect day.
