Stay #4 @ Thousand Trails Soledad RV Campground & Resort in Acton, CA + Updates

Eric & I started staying at

Eric registers at the Office while
I unhitch our car from the
 motorhome.

We returned to Acton and this Campground again in 2021, 2023, and again this year.

Oooh... A unique vintage trailer

It's a Silver Streak.

It's in good shape.

I like the gold accents on
its silver body.

The rear window is a bit
to the left.

This is probably because
the trailer's interior design.

During our stays in 2020 and 2021, Eric and I found Electric Pedestals that didn't work properly.  The voltage would drop too low (107), forcing us to move campsites.

Low voltage can lead to damaged appliances: microwaves, refrigerators, and air conditioners.  I notified the Office each time Eric and I found a dangerous Pedestal and asked that each one be labeled unusable.

I carefully check Electric
Pedestals in different
areas of the Park.

This Pedestal has been riveted
shut in the rectangular
 discoloration on the left.

I am pleased to see this
Electric Pedestal labeled
to warn Campers.

This Pedestal is in a different
Camping Area.

It has been screwed
shut at the bottom,
preventing usage.

I checked this Pedestal
in Section C.
Because the 30-amp plug face is broken, I would not use this
Electric Pedestal & ask to be moved to another campsite.

The Gold Section was being
renovated in 2023.

I like the new signage for
each road in this area.

This picture shows two
campsites.

The campsites here are
spacious.

Every site has a new Electric Pedestal and a nearby concrete post to protect it from being hit by RVs.

Lastly, about the BridgeS that connect the upper and lower areas of Soledad RV Campground and Resort...

This is the bridge that was under
construction in 2023.

It spans the Santa Clarita River,
which is dry for most of the year.

Runoff from heavy rains rushes
through this riverbed.

I hope this bridge survives the next torrents during California's rainy season.
