The sidewalls on our rear exterior tires have surface cracks. Because they are eight years old, Eric and I decide it's time to replace them. ( Our front two tires were replaced in 2016.)
We wait for our appointment
in Latham.
Eric backs up our motorhome
to a service bay.
Look carefully at the front
tire.
It's chocked for safety.
No one wants the motorhome to move while replacing the rear tires.
A jack is placed under the
Leaf Spring.
Blocks have been placed
under the rear Jack.
The interior tire has been replaced.
Nuts and the Bolt covers sit on
the ground while the new
tires are being installed.
The Crowbar and Sledge Hammer are commonly used tools in this line of work. Winnebago includes Hubs to cover the center of the exterior tire rim.
The air powered Wrench tightens
the bolts onto the tire rims.
All four tires have been replaced and the Winnabego covers are in place. After settling the bill, Eric and I drive north to Corinth.
